3 September 2014

R Biomedical is delighted to announce its continued participation in the CRACK IT UnTangle project as part of a consortium lead by Dr. Selina Wray from Professor John Hardy’s team at Dept Molecular Neuroscience, UCL.

Dr. Joe Mee says “This continuation of “Untangled” funding for the development of methodologies to prevent or slow the formation of tau pathology in Alzheimer’s Disease is due to the excellent and exciting progress made during the initial phase study. This project combines the technologies of academic and biotechnology businesses based in Glasgow (Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences) and Edinburgh (R Biomedical Ltd and Roslin Cells Ltd) together with UCLs Department of Molecular Neuroscience specialism in Alzheimer’s research. R Biomedical is privileged to be working with these experts working on this debilitating disorder and hopes to make a contribution to it alleviation.
